The line and form of the subject is paramount.

When I am working on one of these images how the elements interact within the frame is far more important than any realistic depiction of the subject.
This is not intended to be deliberate obfuscation of the scene, but if the result is such that some ambiguity is left for the viewer to interpret, then that is not a problem for me.
